I drew a bunch of these cartoons at university, my aim being to submit them to Redbrick, the student newspaper. I did succeed in getting one published (at about the size of a postage stamp) but was mostly met with indolence and indifference. So, instead, here they are on my site. Hey, I figure it couldn't spoil anything anyway, as the two outlets have such different audiences. Redbrick has an audience which consists chiefly of students of a single University, whereas my site has an audience which consists chiefly of people who like to read Blue Jam transcripts and once clicked on the wrong link by mistake.
The cartoons feature two main characters, who, just to set the record straight, are not based on anyone at all in real life. Or are they? ..No. Or ARE they? No. OR ARE THEY? Look, just shut up, all right? Anyway, one of the characters is tall and does some funny stuff in a shirt. The other is less tall and plays the time-honoured rôle of the straight man. In a jumper. I don't think it could really be much clearer. Anyway, here's a selection.
